Bozak gives Leafs shootout victory
TORONTO – Tyler Bozak tied the score with 3:25 remaining in regulation and then had the only shootout goal to lift the Maple Leafs to a 4-3 victory over Buffalo. Jonathan Bernier had 30 saves through overtime and then stopped all three shootout shots.
•RANGERS RULE: The Rangers moved atop the Metropolitan Division by beating Washington 3-1, while overcoming Alex Ovechkin's league-leading 45th goal. Martin St. Louis, Carl Hagelin and J.T. Miller scored for the Rangers.
•DUCKS LAY AN EGG: Ryan Getzlaf scored twice to give Anaheim a 2-0 lead less than three minutes into the game, but Calgary came back strong and rolled to a 6-3 win. Matt Stajan and Johnny Gaudreau each scored twice for the Flames.
•LEDDY OUT: The Islanders' Nick Leddy will miss at least two weeks with an upper-body injury.
