Tornado Watch. Conditions are ripe for a few rotating supercell thunderstorms capable of spinning up tornadoes into the late evening hours, especially west of MSP. This is a big watch area, including Brainerd, Alexandria, St. Cloud, Redwood Falls, Rochester and the Twin Cities. There have been a few confirmed reports of funnels and tornadoes near Fergus Falls so the atmosphere is certainly capable of violent weather into tonight. Stay alert and stay tuned for warnings.
