Goalie Howard jolted in Wings' loss
DETROIT – Patrick Sharp and Valeri Nichushkin scored in the first period, boosting te Dallas Stars to a 4-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday.
Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard was knocked out of the game midway through the third period when he took an accidental knee to the head from Dallas' Jason Spezza.
Red Wings coach Jeff Blashill said Howard was not evaluated for a concussion, and wanted to come back into the game.
