Commenter Stu tracks down former Minnesota sports figures like no other. This is another very fine example. Stu? --------

The Huntdown

Name: Arland Bruce III New Name: Bruce has recently started going by the name Runako Reth, which he says translates to "handsome king" in an African language. Better than Ochocinco, not nearly as good as He Hate Me. Claim to Fame, Minnesota: the juco transfer from Kansas was a wide receiver for the Minnesota Golden Gophers in 1998 and 1999. Perhaps best known for catching a deflected desperation pass that led to Minnesota's 24-23 road upset of No. 2 Penn State in 1999. Claim to Fame, Everywhere Else: has made a name for himself over the last decade as one of the top wide receivers in the CFL, making three All-Star teams in stints with the Toronto Argonauts, Sudbury Gords* and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He's also gained notoriety for his eccentric touchdown celebrations, which have included both donning a Spiderman mask and removing his helmet, jersey and shoulder pads and laying down on the ground in tribute to the then recently deceased Michael Jackson. Yes, there's video; no, Conrad Murray does not appear in the background. Where He Is Now: playing for the BC Lions and scoring 100-yard touchdowns punctuated with relatively normal exuberance. Is He on Twitter: maybe? Here's his website, if that's not enough. Glorious Randomness: is a cousin of former Rams great Isaac Bruce, who just burned Anthony Bass for another touchdown in the 1999-2000 NFC Divisional Playoffs. *Not a real thing
