Severe storms could develop from southeastern Montana through easternWyoming and western parts of the Dakotas and Nebraska, but they will beisolated.The threats will be damaging wind gusts over 60 mph and large hail. Treesand power lines could be downed in a few areas, resulting in power outages.
Meanwhile, cooler air will be sent over the Great Lakes as the jet streamdips south of the region. There will also be showers around in Chicago,Madison, Detroit and Indianapolis.
