St. Thomas, Bethel win in MIAC women's playoffs

• ST. THOMAS 66, GUSTAVUS ADOLPHUS 51: Katie Stone scored 21 points, making five three-pointers, as the two-time defending MIAC women's basketball playoff champion Tommies (22-4) beat the sixth-seeded Gusties (14-12) in a quarterfinal Tuesday in St. Paul. The Tommies, who finished one game behind regular-season champion St. Mary's and lost a tiebreaker for the second seed with Concordia (Moorhead), will play at Concordia in Thursday's semifinals.

• BETHEL 68, ST. OLAF 55: Katelyn Vavra matched her season high with 19 points, making five three-pointers as the Royals beat the Oles in Arden Hills. Bethel (20-6) visits St. Mary's on Thursday. The Oles finished their season 14-12.
