A St. Paul man will spend the next eight years in prison for shooting a man in the face at a north Minneapolis bus stop last summer.
The sentence for Anthony Lamonte Foote, 24, came after he pleaded guilty to second degree attempted murder in Hennepin County District Court. According to the criminal charges, witnesses saw Foote and another man, Anthony Revon Clay, 26, of Robbinsdale, run from the bus stop after the shooting, leaving a man lying in the street with gun shot wound to his face.
Clay recently pleaded guilty to aiding an offender and will be sentenced on May 4. He is expected to receive 72 months in prison, according to the Hennepin County Attorney's office.
