This murderous part of the Wolves schedule so late in the season continues tonight in Oklahoma City.

One night after they lost 104-96 in Dallas, the Wolves face a Thunder team that's prepping for the playoffs and that hasn't allowed 100 points in its last seven games.

Kevin Love's out for the second consecutive game because of that groin injury and Anthony Randolph again gets the start at power forward after Thursday's career-high 31-point (and 11-rebound performance).

If you heard the chatter on ESPN or saw the Internet headlines out of last night's game in Dallas, pay no attention to the talk that the Wolves are shutting Love down for the season.

There's a chance he might play Sunday against the Celtics. What happened in Dallas was this: Tom Hanneman asked Kurt Rambis on his pregame TV interview if there was a chance Love might not play again this season and Rambis said, well, yeah, with groins and hamstring, there's also a chance but he said it was a very outside chance.

What got picked up from an Associated Press story filed before the game and sent around the country was the notion that the Wolves are shutting Love down for the season.

Not true, although I guess there's "always a chance" he could suffer a setback with the injury.

I asked Rambis before tonight's game if he might try Randolph at point guard -- yes, a tongue-in-cheek question, but not too much of one after watching him push the ball and dish to Jonny Flynn late in Thursday's game -- and he said not yet.

This must be Big 12 country because there are a lot of folks here in OKC wearing or carrying Michael Beasley Kansas State and Timberwolves jerseys, hoping to get them signed before the game.

Beasley, btw, took down his Twitter page today after retweeting last night someone's post that wished Rambis would let Beasley "play his game."

Rambis before the game said he knows nothing about Twitter and hadn't heard anything about Beasley's posting. Beasley told a member of the team's media-relations staff that he retweeted the post by accident from his cell phone, but he spent the pregame media availability in the training room or on the court shooting and I didn't get a chance to ask him about it.

After tonight's game, the Wolves head home to face Boston on Sunday, Chicago on Wednesday and Miami on Friday.

With this schedule, when will they win again this season?

Or will they?
