Kurt Rambis said after practice today that the team likely will activate both Martell Webster and Jonny Flynn for Tuesday night's game at Golden State.

Then, of course, Kurt being Kurt, he said that doesn't mean they'll play.

Webster's almost a given, although Rambis suggested his minutes will be measured.

He didn't say any such thing about Flynn, who has played two D League games to get ready for his season debut.

So what happens when Flynn returns and gets fully healthy?

That'll take the Wolves in a month from having one hurting point guard to having four of them: Flynn, Luke Ridnour, Sebastian Telfair and Sundiata Gaines.

Telfair could in short order go from starter's minutes to third man out, which could make him a trade piece if there's a taker.

Telfair's $2.7 million contract expires after this season, which makes him attractive.

He's also a very capable backup point.

Keeping Gaines as your third point guard probably would keep everybody happier than asking Telfair to go from 35-plus minutes a game to none many nights.

Telfair wouldn't fetch a high price, mind you.

But there are teams -- Miami, New York, Toronto, the Warriors perhaps -- who could use another point guard.
