Struggling Wolves have 3 All-Star candidates

Last update: November 10, 2009 - 11:23 PM

Three Minnesota Timberwolves players are on listed on this year's NBA All-Star ballot.

Center Al Jefferson, forward Kevin Love and guard Ramon Sessions are under consideration for fan voting. Rookie point guard Jonny Flynn is not on the ballot.

Jefferson is struggling in his comeback from knee surgery, Love is out with a broken hand, and Sessions is backing up Flynn.

The Timberwolves haven't had an All-Star in three years, when Kevin Garnett was still with the team. It's a long shot this season, too, with the Wolves off to another rough start. They will take a 1-7 record into Wednesday's game against Portland.

On Monday, Minnesota matched a franchise worst with 146 points allowed in a loss at Golden State.
