Wolves starting point guard Jeff Teague practiced with the team this afternoon at Mayo Clinic Square -- 13 days after he sustained a Grade 1 sprained knee MCL in a game against Denver -- and could play as soon as tomorrow against Oklahoma City.

He has missed seven games since then while backup Tyus Jones has taken over as a starter.

"Each day he has done more and more," Wolves coach Tom Thibodeau said. "We'll see how he feels tomorrow and we'll go from there."

The team this afternoon upgraded its injury report on Teague from out to questionable.

Teague has been shooting and moving around with a brace on his knee in recent days.

"It's heavy," Teague said.

Jones has thrived in those seven games and the Wolves are 4-3 in those games. He played 28 minutes and had eight assists in Monday's 127-99 blowout victory over Cleveland and provided the most memorable play of the night when he stole the ball and beat LeBron James down the floor before he slammed down a vicious dunk just as James closed for the blocked shot.

"Obviously Jeff is a great player and with him coming back, we're all excited and happy for him, happy for the team," Jones said. "Continue to do my part and play my role, whatever Coach is asking of me and just do it to the best of my ability."
