Andrew Wiggins' answer was simple when he was asked what can be done to get him out of a shooting slump.

"Keep shooting,'' he said before Thursday's game against Sacramento. "Really. Keep shooting till I'm out of the slump … It's a long season.''

In his fourth NBA season, Wiggins entered Thursday's game shooting 43.5 percent overall, 29.8 percent on three-pointers and 63.4 percent on free throws. All are career lows, and his 18.3-point scoring average is his lowest since his rookie season.

In the past five games before Thursday, Wiggins shot 28-for-84 overall (33.3 percent), 2-for-20 on three-pointers and is averaging 14.0 points per game. He scored 22 points on 9-for-17 shooting against the Kings.

"With any player there are ups and downs throughout the course of a season,'' Wolves coach Tom Thibodeau said. "It's trying to find a way to get some easy baskets. Andrew has been a prolific scorer in this league for a long time now, and he can score in a lot of different ways."

Wiggins was 9-for-17 Thursday night, including 3-for-4 from three-point range.
