Preview: The Timberwolves end a three-game homestand coming off a 20-point victory over Brooklyn on Saturday, their fourth victory by 20 or more points this season (the Wolves had two all last season). It was the fifth time in 10 games the team has shot 50 percent or better. For the second game in a row the Wolves face a struggling opponent playing on the second night of back-to-back games, although Orlando (19-30) won for only the third time in 13 games when it beat Toronto 114-113 on Sunday behind C Nikola Vucevic's 25 points and 10 rebounds. The Wolves won by 16 at Orlando on Nov. 9, but the Magic has won 13 of the past 16 meetings.

Players to watch: Wolves C Karl-Anthony Towns is coming off a his ninth 30-point game of the season, with 37 points and 13 rebounds vs. Brooklyn. F/G Andrew Wiggins had 23 points and has averaged 25.9 points and shot 52.1 percent in 18 Wolves victories. G Zach LaVine had 37 at Orlando Nov. 9. Magic F Serge Ibaka is averaging 15 points and 6.8 rebounds. Vucevic is nearly averaging a double-double (14.0 ppg, 9.7 rpg); he had 24 points and 14 rebounds with six assists vs. the Wolves on Nov. 9.

Injuries: Magic guards Evan Fournier (right foot), Jodie Meeks (right thumb) and C.J. Wilcox (Achilles') sat out at Toronto.
