Preview: Thursday's 104-101 victory over the Clippers in Los Angeles ended a two-game losing streak and gave the Wolves their fourth victory in six games. Now they take a three-game home winning streak against Denver, which has beaten them twice this season by a total of five points. The Nuggets had a three-game winning streak — against Indiana, Orlando and at the Los Angeles Lakers — ended at San Antonio on Thursday, but they bounced back by routing the Clippers 123-98 at home on Saturday night, getting 19 poins from C Nikola Jokic and 18 each from F Danilo Gallinari, G Will Barton and F Wilson Chandler.

Players to watch: Wolves C Karl-Anthony Towns has averaged 23.5 points in two games vs. Denver, including his first career triple-double Dec. 28. F Andrew Wiggins scored 25 points in both games vs. Denver. Gallinari has averaged 18.5 points in two games vs. the Wolves, and C Jusuf Nurkic has averaged 11.0 points.

Injuries: Wolves PG Ricky Rubio (personal reasons) is out. Denver had Jokic (ankle) listed as probable and Gallinari (right ankle) and F Darrell Arthur (left knee) listed as questionable Saturday, but all played; G Gary Harris (right ankle) was out.
