Gameday: Wolves at Oklahoma City

Preview: The Timberwolves visit Oklahoma City for the first time since they played the transplanted New Orleans Hornets there two seasons ago and for the first time since the Seattle SuperSonics moved there last summer. ... The new Thunder made its debut with an 98-87 opening-night loss to Milwaukee at home on Wednesday and played at Houston Saturday night. ... The Wolves were 1-3 against the SuperSonics last season, their only victory coming at Seattle in their last meeting in March.

Players to watch: Reigning NBA Rookie of the Year Kevin Durant was held to 12 points on 5-for-14 shooting in the Thunder opener. He finished up against the Wolves last season by scoring 25 and 24 points in the final two games against them. ... The Thunder made UCLA guard Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love's teammate last season, a surprise pick with the fourth selection in last summer's draft, but watch out for the 6-3 point guard, who is bigger and more athletic than you think.

Injuries: Wolves veteran center Jason Collins might be ready to play by the end of the week. He missed all season and the season's first two games while recovering from September surgery to repair a ruptured tendon in his elbow.... The Thunder's D.J. White (jaw surgery) and Mouhamed Sene (knee surgery) are out.
