Preview: The Wolves, losers of six in a row, remain in a battle with the Knicks for the NBA's worst record. The Wolves are 1½ games ahead of the Knicks. The team with the worst record has the best chance at the first pick in the draft. The Kings, losers of five in a row, are 8-16 since George Karl was named coach on Feb. 17.

Players to watch: Wolves F/G Andrew Wiggins has scored 20 or more points in six of seven games. F Chase Budinger has scored in double figures in 12 consecutive games, all of them coming off the bench. Kings F/C DeMarcus Cousins has had a double-double in six games in a row. He had back-to-back triple-doubles Wednesday and Friday. G Ben McLemore is coming off a 20-point, 5-rebound, 4-assist and 4-steal game vs. Utah. He is the only Kings player not to miss a game this season.

Numbers: The Wolves have lost three in a row vs. Sacramento dating to last season. Five of the teams' past seven games have been decided by three or fewer points.

Injuries: Wolves G Kevin Martin (hamstring) is probable. F Kevin Garnett (knee) is questionable. C Gorgui Dieng (concussion-like symptoms), F Anthony Bennett (ankle), F Shabazz Muhammad (finger), G Gary Neal (ankle), C Nikola Pekovic (ankle/foot) and G Ricky Rubio (ankle) are out. Kings G Nik Stauskas (back) is probable. F Rudy Gay (concussion) is questionable. G Darren Collison (core muscle) and F Eric Moreland (left shoulder) are out, as is Carl Landry, who received a one-game suspension for leaving the bench during an altercation on Sunday.
