7 P.M. VS. MEMPHIS • TARGET CENTER • FSN, 830-AM

Preview: The Grizzlies end a five-game trip Wednesday, having gone 2-2 so far after edging Denver 94-92 on Monday. They opened the trip by winning at Utah, then lost at Golden State and Portland before beating the Nuggets. At 44-30, they are 34-15 after starting the season 10-15 under rookie coach Dave Joerger, who grew up in Staples, Minn., and are fighting Dallas and Phoenix for the West’s final two playoff spots. … The Grizzlies have won two of the season’s first three meetings, losing at home in December before winning at Target Center in January and winning 109-92 at home last week.

Players to watch: Memphis power forward Zach Randolph leads his team in scoring (17.4 points), rebounds (10.1) and double-doubles (43). The Grizzlies are 21-10 this season when he leads or shares the lead in scoring. … Point guard Mike Conley is averaging a career-high 17.3 points along with six assists per game and has scored 20 or more points 22 times this season, the most in his seven-year NBA career. … Memphis is 27-11 since center Marc Gasol, the reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year, returned after missing 23 games because of a sprained knee ligament.

Injuries: Wolves C Nikola Pekovic played only seven minutes and then left Monday’s loss to the Clippers because of his sore right foot and probably won’t play. Backup C Ronny Turiaf hasn’t played since Feb.19 against Indiana, but there’s a chance his return could come as soon as Wednesday. Grizzlies F Quincy Pondexter remains out because of a foot stress fracture.
