Preview: Kevin Love was back at practice Monday after he missed Friday's practice and Saturday's home loss to Miami to return home to Portland, Ore., following his grandmother's death. "He's fine," Wolves coach Rick Adelman said. "He went through the whole practice and seems good."…The 10-11 Pistons' four-game winning streak ended with Sunday's 110-95 home loss to Miami. The Pistons also won at Chicago and beat Philadelphia and Milwaukee in that four-game winning streak. … The Wolves swept last season's two-game series.

Players to watch: The Pistons' formidable front line of Josh Smith, Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe is averaging between 13.5 and 14.2 points each. Drummond, the second-year center from Connecticut, is averaging 13 rebounds a game while point guard Brandon Jennings leads the team in scoring (17.1 ppg) and assists (8.1). … Rookie Kentavious Caldwell-Pope — the shooting guard the Wolves coveted in the draft before the Pistons took him eighth, one spot ahead of the Wolves' pick — is starting and averaging 7.3 points. … Wolves F Corey Brewer was fined $5,000 by the NBA for flopping in Saturday's loss to the Heat. Brewer fell away flailing after he collided with LeBron Jones going for a rebound.

Injuries: Wolves F Chase Budinger (knee surgery) accompanied the team to Detroit on Monday, another small step in his recovery. Both he and C Ronny Turiaf (elbow), though, are out until later this month at least. Pistons G Chauncey Billups (knee tendinitis) is listed as day-to-day, G Rodney Stuckey (kneecap tendinitis) is questionable and G Will Bynum (abductor strain) is doubtful.
