MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Bucks have signed free agent guard Gary Neal and first-round draft pick Giannis Antetokounmpo (YAHN'-iss ahn-teh-toh-KUHN'-poh).

The team announced the signings Tuesday. Neal got a two-year deal worth close to $6 million, just over a week after the San Antonio Spurs withdrew their qualifying offer and made him a free agent.

Neal averaged 9.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists in three years with the Spurs. After playing a supporting role with the Spurs, Neal says the prospects of being a more featured player in Milwaukee made the decision easy for him.

Antetokounmpo was the 15th pick in the June draft. The 6-9 forward comes to Milwaukee from Greece. He averaged 9.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game for Filathlitikos in Greece's second division.
