Preview: The Timberwolves make their first TNT appearance since the 2005-06 season -- when Kevin Garnett played here -- with a special 6 p.m. start time. Former Wolves play-by-play guy Kevin Harlan, Reggie Miller and Chris Webber will call the game. No telling if Webber will reprise his 2010 Las Vegas Summer League interview with David Kahn, one of TV's most memorable chats in recent years. ... The Wolves will do so with Ricky Rubio back in action after he sat out Tuesday's 103-92 loss at Miami as part of a plan to keep him out of the second game in back-to-back situations. ... The 21-4 Thunder has won 12 consecutive games after Wednesday's victory in Atlanta. That's the longest such streak since the franchise moved from Seattle to OKC in 2008. The SuperSonics won 14 consecutive games in 1996. ... The Thunder won all three meetings between the teams last season -- including that memorable 149-140 double-overtime game in Oklahoma City in March -- and have won the past 12 in a row, dating to 2009.

Players to watch: The tag team of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook again lead the league as its highest scoring duo. They're combining to average nearly 48 points a game. Last season, they led the NBA by combining for 51.6 points a game, passing Miami's LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in the process. ... Thunder forward Serge Ibaka -- tied for the league lead in blocks at 3 a game - scored a career-high 25 points and matched a season-high 17 rebounds in Monday's victory over San Antonio.

Injuries: Wolves F Josh Howard, G Brandon Roy, F Chase Budinger and G Malcolm Lee all are out because of knee injuries. Thunder F Perry Jones is listed as day-to-day because of a sprained ankle.
