The Wolves end their season tonight against a struggling team that has lost seven in a row and gave up 151 points Monday night. It's Fan Appreciation Night, too.
Preview: The Bucks surrendered 151 points in Monday's home loss to Chicago, their seventh consecutive defeat. The Bucks scored 45 points in the first quarter and 72 in the first half and still lost by 16. They have not won since beating New York and Washington in back-to-back games the first two days of April. ... Tonight is Fan Appreciation Night. The first 5,000 people through the doors get an Al Jefferson piggybank, and prizes and player-autographed merchandise will be given away.
Player to watch: Rookie point guard Ramon Sessions, a second-round draft pick who spent the season's first three months in the NBA Developmental League, is tearing it up, relatively speaking. His 20-point, 24-assist night against the Bulls on Monday was the franchise's first 20-point, 20-assist game, and his 24 assists set a team record by three. They also are the most in an NBA game this season.
Injuries: Wolves point guard Sebastian Telfair is expected to miss his 20th consecutive game. His season ended when he severely sprained his ankle on March 7 at Sacramento. Forward Craig Smith's season also apparently ended when he was hit in the chest Wednesday against New Orleans and sprained the joint that connects his breastbone and collarbone. Bucks rookie Ji Yianlian (sprained knee) and guard Charlie Bell (torn knee ligaments) are out.
