Preview: Pistons coach Flip Saunders played all his regulars 25 minutes or less and rested them down the stretch in Sunday's 91-84 home victory over Toronto, his team's second in a row. ... He did not play All-Stars Rasheed Wallace, Chauncey Billups and Rip Hamilton in the teams' previous meeting at Target Center on April 1, and his reserves rallied to beat the Wolves. ... They recovered from a 21-point deficit and won 94-90 behind rookie guard Rodney Stuckey's 27 points. The Pistons used a 22-6 run that ended the first half to get back into the game. ... The Wolves did not practice Sunday or Monday and will not practice again this season with only two games left, tonight and at home against Milwaukee on Wednesday.
Player to watch: Expect to see a lot of Stuckey, the point guard from Eastern Washington, again because Saunders is using these final games to exercise his bench players. Stuckey is averaging 15 points in his past seven games. His 27 points against the Wolves 15 days ago were a season high; his nine assists against New Jersey four days later were a career high.
Injuries: Wolves point guard Sebastian Telfair (ankle) did not accompany the team to Detroit, which means he almost certainly will not play again.
