Luis Scola scored a season-high 24 points for the Rockets, and Tracy McGrady and Rafer Alston each had 13 points after shooting a combined 9-for-38. Houston came into San Antonio having won two in a row and 29 of its past 33 games — highlighted by its historic 22-game streak. But they were no match for the Spurs. Rasho Nesterovic had 14 points and Jamario Moon 13 for the Raptors, who have lost seven of 10. • BOSTON 88, MIAMI 62: Kevin Garnett scored twice before Miami made a basket, and the host Celtics held the Heat to an NBA-record low 17 field goals, coasting to victory. The matchup of the NBA’s best team and its worst was even more lopsided than anticipated. Boston was up 27-4 after 10 minutes, and coach Doc Rivers started subbing for his starters 7:10 into the game. • CLEVELAND 91, PHILADELPHIA 88: LeBron James made a bank shot with 19.3 seconds left, and the Cavaliers defeated the 76ers in Cleveland. LAKERS 126, WASHINGTON 120 (OT): Kobe Bryant scored six of his 26 points in overtime, and the host Lakers defeated the Wizards to end a two-game losing skid and notch their 50th victory for the 29th time in franchise history. Sasha Vujacic scored 20 points and Luke Walton added 19 for Los Angeles. • GOLDEN STATE 114, DALLAS 104: Monta Ellis had 30 points and Kelenna Azubuike hit two key shots to help the Warriors beat the visiting Mavericks to create a three-way tie for seventh place in the West. • ATLANTA 114, NEW YORK 109: Marvin Williams scored 27 points, and Joe Johnson had 23 as the host Hawks got past the Knicks for their third victory in a row. • SACRAMENTO 120, SEATTLE 107: Kevin Martin scored 31 points, Ron Artest had 29 and the Kings broke away in the final period to beat the host SuperSonics.
