Preview: The Wolves get their second chance this season to win three in a row; the last time the Wolves had the chance, they came oh so close to three in a one-point loss to Boston on Jan. 25. They get a Portland team that has rebounded from a 1-8 stretch in February to win four of seven.
Players to watch: Portland guard Brandon Roy has not been kind to the team that drafted and then immediately traded him for Randy Foye. In five games vs. the Wolves, Roy has averaged 19.4 points. He has 22 and 24 points in two games vs. Minnesota this season. ... Foye is coming off a 26-point performance vs. the Clippers.
Numbers: Minnesota is 0-2 vs. Portland this season. The Wolves are one victory away from 15, which would match the franchise low in 1991-92. Saturday's victory over the Clippers is the fourth this season in which the Wolves have rallied from 10 or more down to win.
Injuries: For Minnesota, G Sebastian Telfair (sprained ankle) was off crutches Monday and was due for a precautionary MRI later in the day. He said he hopes to miss no more than four or five games. F/C Al Jefferson, who turned an ankle Saturday, was given the day off but is expected to play tonight. For Portland, Darius Miles (knee) and Greg Oden (knee) are out.
