Preview: Charlotte won one game in February. One. It was against Atlanta, in overtime. Other than that? O-fer. But the Bobcats opened March like lions, beating Toronto 110-98 on Sunday. Still, the 20-39 Bobcats have won just twice in their past 14 games. This is the first meeting this year between the two teams; they have split two games each of the past three seasons.
Players to watch: Al Jefferson, who has averaged 24.5 points his past six games, had a career-high five assists Sunday. ... Charlotte forward Jason Richardson had his second consecutive 30-point night in Sunday's victory. Forward Emeka Okafor has 31 double-doubles this season.
Numbers: Okafor averaged 12 points and 16.5 rebounds in two games vs. Minnesota last season. ... Charlotte is 4-1 vs. teams in the Northwest Division this season, having beaten Denver, Utah, Portland and Seattle. ... Sunday was the 13th time the Wolves have lost a game this season when leading or tied after three quarters.
Injuries: For Charlotte, Derek Anderson (right knee), Sean May (right knee), Adam Morrison (torn knee ligament) and Gerald Wallace (concussion) are out. For the Wolves, F Corey Brewer (thigh contusion) is doubtful and Marko Jaric (thigh contusion) is questionable.
