Preview: Miami ended a 14-game road losing streak by winning at Seattle 103-93 on Friday night. The 15-43 Sonics have lost four consecutive games, five of six and seven of their past nine games. They are 5-22 on the road. Their last road victory came at Sacramento on Feb. 6. ... The Sonics' most lopsided victory of the season came over the Wolves: 109-90 at Seattle on Dec. 29. ... The Sonics have beaten the Wolves five consecutive times.
Player to watch: Michael Beasley. Oops, the Kansas State freshman star and projected prize of this summer's draft for two teams vying for the No. 1 overall pick played Saturday night in a big college game at Kansas. Otherwise, Kevin Durant, Beasley's childhood pal and last summer's No. 2 overall pick, has scored 35 points in a game twice this season and his 19.3 season scoring average leads all rookies by nearly eight points a game. He also is shooting 39.9 percent from the field.
Numbers: Sonics forward Chris Wilcox is averaging a double-double -- 16.5 points and 11 rebounds -- in two games this season against the Wolves.
Injuries: Timberwolves coach Randy Wittman said Marko Jaric (knee) will be a game-time decision. SuperSonics point guard Luke Ridnour (hamstring), guard Earl Watson (respiratory infection) and guard Damien Wilkins (wrist sprain) are listed as probable. Center Robert Swift (torn knee ligament) is out.
