KG will come, not play

Last update: February 6, 2008 - 10:50 PM

Looks like Kevin Garnett will return to Minnesota with his Boston Celtics today even if he won't play Friday at Target Center.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers said Wednesday night he thinks Garnett will travel with the team and come out from the locker room to greet the crowd before the game if the Wolves plan to recognize his return.

Garnett, who missed his fifth consecutive game Wednesday night because of an abdominal injury, stays in the locker room when he can't play.
