Wolves forward Kevin Love's season is now officially over.

In a meeting with the Love, coaches and medical personnel, it was decided that Love, who sustained a concussion when hit by a JaVale McGee elbow in Denver April 11, will miss the team's final two games this season.

Greetings. Kent Youngblood here. I'll be covering tonight's game.

Meanwhile, point guard Luke Ridnour (ankle) will miss tonight's game. And, according to Wolves coach Rick Adelman, Ridnour will likely miss the season finale as well.

Love missed his sixth game Sunday, Ridnour his 10th.

The Wolves said Love had cleared all the NBA-mandated hurdles to return, passing all the tests necessary to be cleared to play. But the decision was not to take any chances with Love, who is fourth in the league in scoring (26.0) and second in rebounding (13.3).

"Everybody talked about it and the decision was made," Adelman said of Love. The biggest factor? Love has had so many days off, and there wasn't enough practice time to be had to get him back in game shape. And besides, why take a chance of Love getting hurt again? "It's been 10-11 days since he played," Adelman said.

Ridnour, meanwhile, didn't look good in the team's short practice Saturday, according to Adelman. The ankle was badly sprained, and Adelman doesn't want to risk Ridnour hurting something else while favoring his bad ankle.

"So we'll go with the guys we have, and see if we can't get a couple wins," Adelman said.

That's about all for now. I'll get back to you after the game.
