Wolves-Boston game preview

Preview: The Timberwolves have won two of their past three games, and Boston has won seven of 10 to forge a tie with Philadelphia in the Atlantic Division.

Players to watch: Kevin Love is coming off a 40-point, 19-rebound performance in Charlotte, his third game with 40 or more this month. PG Luke Ridnour (15 points, a season-high 14 assists) and F Anthony Tolliver (11 points, 11 rebounds) are also coming off double-doubles. Boston F Kevin Garnett had his 16th double-double of the season on Wednesday vs. Utah, including a game-high 23 points. G/F Paul Pierce has averaged 20.4 points the past five games. PG Rajon Rondo has had 10 or more assists in all but two games this month.

Numbers: The Wolves are 0-6 against Boston since Garnett was traded there before the 2007-08 season.

Injuries: Wolves PG Ricky Rubio (knee surgery) is out; F Michael Beasley (sprained big toe), G J.J Barea (quad contusion) and C Nikola Pekovic (ankle) are questionable. Boston C Jermaine O'Neal is out; SG Ray Allen (right ankle) and G/F Mickael Pietrus (head) are day-to-day.
