Preview: The Wolves will look to end a four-game losing streak in Charlotte that dates back to their only victory, a 102-96 win on Jan. 1, 2007... The Wolves won the only other game between the two teams this season, 102-90, Feb. 15, in a game that was tied late in the third quarter. Charlotte has tripled its victory total in March compared to February. The Bobcats were 1-10 in February, but are 3-11 so far in March, with all three wins coming at home (3-6 at home this month).
Players to watch: Kevin Love had one of his many 30-point games this season vs. Charlotte, scoring 30 points with 18 rebounds. Before scoring just nine points Tuesday, PG Luke Ridnour, had scored in double figures in all but one game in March. Charlotte G Gerald Henderson is coming off a 21-point performance vs. Boston. He has topped 20 points in three of his past five games. F Corey Maggette leads the team at 15.0 ppg.
Numbers: Minnesota is fifth in scoring in the NBA, the Bobcats are last. The Wolves are third in the league in rebounding, the Bobcats 29th.
Injuries: Wolves C Nikola Pekovic (ankle), G Ricky Rubio (knee) and G J.J. Barea (thigh bruise) are out. G Michael Beasley (toe) and G Luke Ridnour (groin) are probable. Charlotte C DeSagana Diop (hamstring) and F/C Eduardo Najera (knee) are game-time decisions.
