DEFENSIVE THINKING

The Wolves have made big strides this year mostly because of their defense. Here are some defensive numbers that quantify that improvement:

Year Defensive rating Points against FG% allowed

2010-2011 108.3 (27th) 107.7 (30th) .468 (T22th)

2011-2012 99.2 (14th) 95.6 (T16th) .438 (T12th)

They are even better in fourth quarters this year:
