Gameday: Wolves vs. Philadelphia 76ers

  • Updated: February 19, 2012 - 12:29 AM

Preview: The Wolves, one game below .500, bring a two-game winning streak into the game. The 76ers are coming off two losses in a row -- at Orlando and vs. Dallas -- and have lost four of their past six games.

Players to watch: C Nikola Pekovic is coming off a career-high 30 points at Houston. F Kevin Love is averaging 29.2 points his past five games. Philadelphia guard Lou Williams is leading the 76ers in scoring (16.0) coming off the bench as a sixth man. All-Star F Andre Iguodala is averaging 12.4 points, and G Jrue Holiday is averaging 13.4.

Numbers: The Wolves are 7-6 on the road, just 8-10 at home. Philadelphia has won the past three games between the two teams. The 76ers have had 11 or fewer turnovers in 11 of the past 12 games and are averaging a league-best 10.4 turnovers per game, which puts them on pace to set a league record. Detroit averaged 11.4 per game in the 2005-06 season.

Injuries: The Wolves have none. Philadelphia's Spencer Hawes (Achilles strain) is out.
