Preview: The Wolves officially assigned rookie G Malcolm Lee to their Sioux Falls affiliate Monday for a rehabilitation assignment in his recovery from Dec. 30 knee surgery. The Skyforce play home games Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, after which he likely will be evaluated to see if he's ready for NBA action. ... The Kings beat New Orleans 100-92 on Monday, their third consecutive victory after having lost five games in a row before that. ... The Wolves beat the Kings 99-86 in the season's first meeting, Jan. 16 at Target Center.
Players to watch: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins has double-doubles in 13 of his past 17 games, including eight of 10, and had 28 points and 19 rebounds in Monday's victory over the Hornets. Guard Tyreke Evans has averaged 23.4 points and 7.2 assists in his past five games.
Injuries: Neither team reports any injuries, although Wolves F Kevin Love will serve the first of his two-game suspension for stepping on Houston's Luis Scola on Saturday. If rookie Derrick Williams doesn't start at Love's power forward spot, Michael Beasley will.
