I tapped that "Darko's a go" line out on Twitter not long ago and my pal Sam Amick from SI.com tweeted back that he initially misread it and thought I said, "Darko's a god."

Uh, no.....

Darko! remains in the starting lineup tonight in New Jersey, healthy enough to play after he missed practice Thursday because of a bruised thigh sustained Wednesday against Indiana.

That keeps Nikola Pekovic on the bench and probably will keep many Timberwolves fans clamoring for a starting lineup change when Rick Adelman appears to be in no hurry to make one forthcoming.

Anthony Randolph again is a healthy scratch for the second consecutive game.

Adelman said 75 minutes before tonight's game that he hadn't decided who would be inactive -- other than injured Malcolm Lee, of course -- but said the decision again would be made based on matchups.

He eventually decided that Brad Miller and Anthony Tolliver again will be active, even though the Nets don't nearly possess the same dilemma at center that the Pacers did on Wednesday now that Brook Lopez and Mehmet Ocur are out injured.

Adelman said again tonight that Lee will be sent down to the D League next week for a rehab assignment in his return from Dec. 30 knee surgery. Lee is not with the team tonight in New Jersey.

J.J. Barea came through Wednesday's game feeling fine, Adelman said, and he'll be available as much as his conditioning allows. Expect him to play again in 6-minute spurts, more or less.

The Nets are in the same shape the Wolves were in up until last weekend: They're having a hard time finding enough healthy bodies to scrimmages. Lopez, Okur, rookie MarShon Brooks, Damion Jones and DeShawn Stevenson all are out.

Anthony Morrow is expected to play.
