Chart: A night of Rubio firsts

  • Updated: December 18, 2011 - 2:05 AM

First appearance: Checked into game with J.J. Barea with 4:22 left in first quarter.

First assist: Zipped cross-court pass to Kevin Love, who made a three-point shot with 3:03 left in first quarter.

First points: Nice cross-over dribble, then a finger-roll layup with 27 seconds left before halftime.

First real oohs and aahs: His hesitation dribble caused -- or not -- Bucks defending 6-7 point guard Shaun Livingston to stumble and fall.

First lesson learned: Livingston beat him on a backdoor cut for a layup early in second quarter.

First Rubio-induced crowd panic: Appeared to turn an ankle on defense and left the game midway through second quarter. Returned late in third quarter.

First "Olé, olé, olé" chants: After Derrick Williams converted a Rubio alley-oop pass for a dunk midway through fourth quarter.
