Preview: Tonight's game kicks off a stretch in which the Wolves will play four games in five nights. Four of the Wolves' next five opponents are from the Eastern Conference, and all four of those games will be on the road. Washington has won three of four games in a five-game homestand that ends tonight. The Wizards beat the Wolves 105-89 at Target Center Nov. 16.
Players to watch: With Gilbert Arenas out of the lineup following knee surgery -- his last game was a 27-point effort vs. the Wolves -- the Wizards have relied on Caron Butler, who is averaging a career-high 22.6 points per game and Antawn Jamison (21.3). Butler scored 29 in the victory over the Wolves.
Numbers: Washington is 7-5 since losing Arenas. Minnesota has lost three in a row in Washington. The Wolves have used 12 different starting lineups in 18 games.
Injuries: For the Wolves, G Randy Foye (knee), C Theo Ratliff (knee) and G Greg Buckner (calf) are out. G/F Antoine Walker (ankle) is questionable. For the Wizards, G Gilbert Arenas (knee), C/F Oleksiy Pecherov (ankle) and G Etan Thomas (heart surgery) are out.
