In 1989, when the Timberwolves conducted their first NBA draft, they wound up with Doug West with the second of their two second-round picks. Nice job. Since then? Lots of misses until last season, when Craig Smith was taken with the 36th overall pick. Here's a look at some players who might still be available to the Wolves in the second round:
