The Heat point guard was a problem for the second time in three weeks. In the first meeting, his outside shooting proved lethal to the Wolves. This time, Williams triggered Miami's break and, with 15 points, 10 assists and six rebounds, orchestrated its offense.

THE STATS

11.1 percent Take away the Wolves' putrid three-point shooting (2-for-18), and they still made only 43.9 percent of their two-pointers (29-for-66).

9,252 With four points, Miami's Alonzo Mourning broke a tie with Glen Rice and became the Heat franchise's all-time leading scorer.

Kevin Garnett, with 22 points and 20 rebounds, got his first 20-20 game of the season and 30th of his career.
