THE STATS
1:32 Minutes played by Wolves killer Pau Gasol in the fourth quarter after irking Memphis coach Tony Barone with his lack of defense.
3 Wolves players who set or tied season highs in points: Davis, Justin Reed (10) and Bracey Wright (seven).
2 Consecutive road victories for the Wolves, who have yet to win more than two straight since winning four in the early days of the 2005-06 season.
THAT SCORING TOUCH
Been a tough couple days for Wolves guard Mike James. He's had trouble with his shot, going 6-for-23 in the three games prior to Saturday. Plus, his wife Angela had to be hospitalized for migrane headaches, forcing him to fly commercial to Memphis late Friday night. Still, James scored 16 points on 6-for-10 shooting with seven assists vs. Memphis. "It felt good to see the ball go through the hole," he said.
KENT YOUNGBLOOD
