Game recap

Last update: December 22, 2006 - 11:46 PM

MVP

Charlie Bell wouldn't have started, except that Ruben Patterson came down with a stomach virus. So the backup guard took Patterson's spot, played 42 minutes and scored 22 of his 28 points in the first half. That emboldened the Bucks while wearing a path to the too-frequently-open spots on the floor.

THE STATS

97 Milwaukee got up 97 shots, most by a Wolves opponent this season.

5 The Bucks have won five in a row vs. Western Conference teams.

UNREQUITED RIVALRY

Too bad these clubs play in oppositve conferences and their season series is over. Twice in a week they played feisty games, and this one featured six technical fouls, four on the Wolves.

Skol Vikings!

I made this championship belt for the push to the '09 Division Title. Gladden offered to buy it; I wanted a trade for one of his rings. He declined.
