Morning from snowy Minny. No callups, meaning Cam Barker returns to the lineup.
Coach Todd Richards announced this morning that defenseman Marco Scandella, who I described as loopy yesterday, has a mild concussion, meaning he must miss at least a week.
So that rules out at least the first three games of the road trip. With two games in western Canada coming up, I'd assume the Wild will have to call up at least one defenseman and maybe even a forward after tonight's game or before its flight tomorrow.
Anton Khudobin gets the start tonight, Niklas Backstrom will back up.
I'll be on 1500 ESPN at 11 a.m. this morning and I'll be on Joe Schmit's Sports Wrap on Channel 5 tonight at 10:45ish.
