Bergeron paces Habs' victory

• MONTREAL 5, COLUMBUS 3: Marc-Andre Bergeron scored his second goal of the game 4:46 into the third, leading the host Canadiens to a victory over the Blue Jackets on Tuesday night. Bergeron had tied the score 2-2 with his fourth goal midway through the second.

NOTES

• The NHL suspended Philadelphia Flyers forward Daniel Briere two games for a late hit on Colorado Avalanche defenseman Scott Hannan.

• Ottawa Senators starting goaltender Pascal Leclaire will be sidelined about a month by a broken cheekbone. He was injured while sitting on the bench during the 4-3 overtime victory Monday against Washington.
