Blackhawks win with power-play goals

• CHICAGO 4, LOS ANGELES 1: Jonathan Toews and Troy Brouwer scored power-play goals in a span of 3 minutes, 31 seconds early in the third period Monday, leading the Blackhawks to a home victory over the Kings. Toews had been out because of a concussion since Vancouver's Willie Mitchell leveled him Oct. 21.

NOTES

• Carolina signed veteran goalie Manny Legace to a one-year contract to help replace the injured Cam Ward.

• Calgary forward Curtis Glencross was suspended three games by the NHL because of a high hit he put on the New York Rangers' Chris Drury.
