USA Olympic hockey team to be revealed on live TV

The United States men's Olympic hockey team's roster will be announced live on national television during NBC's Jan. 1 telecast of the outdoor contest between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers in Fenway Park.
The 23-member team will compete at the XXI Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, B.C., with the gold medal game scheduled for Feb. 28. Team USA opens play Feb. 16 vs. Switzerland.
Ron Wilson, head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs, has the same role for Team USA. All players are expected to be chosen from the NHL.
