The Wild signed Mason Shaw to an entry level contract. The 19-year-old center missed last season with Medicine Hat of the Western Hockey League after tearing an ACL playing for the Wild prospects at the Traverse City tournament in September.

Shaw had 47 goals and 163 points in 161 games for Medicine Hat in three seasons, and rolled up 94 points in his last season with the Tigers. He was a fourth round pick (97th overall) of the Wild in 2017.

The 5-foor-9, 170-pounder, who is from Wainwright, Alberta, signed an amateur tryout contract with the Wild in April and played one game for the Iowa Wild. He has a year of junior eligibility left.
