It's friendly ice until November

Preview: After playing only one of its first six games at home, the Wild will play six in a row at Xcel Energy Center beginning Tuesday and continuing through Nov. 4. The Canucks, winners of their past two games, are 3-1 on the road and won two of three games against the Wild last season.

Players to watch: Wild F Mikko Koivu has a team-high 42 points in 55 career games against Vancouver and is on a five-game point streak (three goals, two assists). Canucks F Thomas Vanek, a former Gopher who played for the Wild from 2014-16, has three goals and one assist. F Brock Boeser, a Burnsville native, is tied with Derek Dorsett for the team lead in scoring with two goals and four assists.

Numbers: The Wild has scored at least one power-play goal in its past five games and leads the NHL with a 33.3 percent success rate (six goals on 18 attempts). … Vancouver's Sedin twins are the second- and third-leading scorers in history against the Wild. Henrik has 69 points in 83 career games, and Daniel has 65 points in 80 games.

Injuries: Wild F Charlie Coyle (broken fibula), Nino Niederreiter (sprained ankle) and Zach Parise (undisclosed) are out. F Mikael Granlund (groin) is questionable. Canucks D Troy Stecher (lower-body injury), D Alex Edler (knee) and F Loui Eriksson (knee) are out.
