Wild-Boston game preview

Preview: The Wild, 12-4-2 all-time vs. the Bruins and 7-2 in Boston, looks to win on the road for the first time in four games this season. It is 0-1-1 to start this four-game trip. The Bruins could have serious goaltender issues Tuesday. No. 1 goalie Tuukka Rask didn't practice Monday because of an injury and No. 2 Anton Khudobin was injured in Monday's practice. That could mean Malcolm Subban, P.K.'s brother, might make his second career start.

Players to watch: Wild G Devan Dubnyk likely will start. He is 0-5 with a 5.20 goals-against average and .865 save percentage all-time against the Bruins. LW Zach Parise is coming off a two-goal, 10-shot effort at the Islanders. He became the 18th American and third Minnesotan to score 300 goals. RW Jason Pominville leads the Wild with 19 goals and 45 points in 55 games against Boston. C Eric Staal has 34 points in 43 career games against the Bruins. Boston C David Backes has 12 goals and 23 points in 38 career games against his hometown Wild.

Numbers: The Wild leads the NHL with 15 players who have scored at least one goal. … The Wild's first-period goal and shot differential is minus-2 and minus-25. Its second-period goal and shot differential is plus-5 and plus-21. … The Wild ranks 27th on the power play, scoring only twice on 22 chances (9.1 percent).

Injuries: Wild D Jared Spurgeon (upper body), who skated alone before practice Monday, and C Erik Haula (foot), who might try to skate Tuesday, are doubtful. Bruins D Adam McQuaid (middle-body) and D Kevan Miller (knee) are out.
