Preview: The Wild, once 8-13 on the road, is now 20-14-2 on the road thanks to a 12-1-2 road surge since goalie Devan Dubnyk's Jan. 15 debut. The Wild, which won its 40th game Saturday against St. Louis, has won a franchise-record eight consecutive road games and visits a team that has lost five in a row and has no regulation wins since March 3 (1-7-1 since). The Leafs have allowed the fourth-most goals per game (3.18). In 30 games under Dubnyk, the Wild has allowed 52 goals. The Leafs have allowed 52 goals the past 13 games (40 the past nine). The Wild is 1-6 all-time at Toronto.

Players to watch: Dubnyk is expected to make his 31st consecutive start for the Wild and 32nd consecutive overall. That would tie Jonas Hiller for the most in the NHL since 2011-12. LW Thomas Vanek has a team-season-long seven-game point streak. LW Zach Parise is two goals from 30 and has 10 points in his past nine games. The Leafs' first line of James van Riemsdyk (minus-32), Tyler Bozak (minus-33) and Phil Kessel (minus-35) rank 850th, 851st and tied for last at 855th in NHL plus-minus, respectively.

Injuries: Wild LW Ryan Carter (upper body) is questionable. D Nate Prosser (knee), LW Jason Zucker (collarbone), LW Matt Cooke (sports hernia) and D Keith Ballard (concussion) are out. Maple Leafs D Stephane Robidas (shoulder) and D Roman Polak (sports hernia) are out and C Peter Holland (lower body) is day-to-day.
