Star Tribune’s three stars

1. Jonathan Toews, Chicago: Dynamite third-period shift resulted in the game-winning goal by the Blackhawks captain. Also won 60 percent of faceoffs.

2. Corey Crawford, Chicago: Goalie stopped 27 shots, including some testers late in the game.

3. Peter Regin, Chicago: In playoff debut, young centerman had three hits and drew penalty that set up Chicago’s second-period power-play goal.

Turning point

Four minutes into the third period, the line of Toews, Patrick Sharp and Marian Hossa had a strong shift that ended up with Toews scoring the game-winning goal. The crowd got stronger in support of the home team, which hung on for the victory.
