Preview: The Wild, which like the Jets hasn't practiced the past three days, wraps its stretch of seven of eight games on the road before opening a four-game homestand Sunday. The Wild is 1-5 in its past six road games, 1-7-1 in its past nine with nine goals scored. Its last regulation road victory was Nov. 20 at Ottawa. The Wild is 3-0 against Winnipeg this season. The Jets have lost six of their past eight overall.

Players to watch: If Wild C Kyle Brodziak doesn't score a goal, it would stretch his drought to 28 games, tying his career long. C Mikael Granlund has a goal and assist in his two games back after a concussion. Jets RW Blake Wheeler has seven goals and 10 points in the past 11 games. Former Wild RW Devin Setoguchi has gone 10 games without a goal. G Ondrej Pavelec has one victory and has allowed 19 goals in his past five starts.

Numbers: The Wild once led the NHL in fewest opponent shots per game. It has allowed more than 30 in seven of the past eight games and has dipped to fourth (26.9 shots allowed per game). … G Niklas Backstrom has allowed 19 goals in his past five starts and hasn't won since Nov. 23 at Winnipeg. … The Jets' power play has nine goals the past eight games.

Injuries: Wild LW Zach Parise (lower body) is out; G Josh Harding (MS-related) and D Clayton Stoner (lower body) are questionable. Jets LW Matt Halischuk (forearm), D Paul Postma (blood clot), C Jim Slater (sports hernia) and D Grant Clitsome (undisclosed) are out.
